Jason Rogers is certified by Fender Musical Instruments and is authorized to perform warranty repair on Seagull, Taylor, and Martin guitars. He received a Pre-College Degree from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelors Degree in Guitar Performance from the North Carolina School of the Arts. He is a string instrument repair technician at our North Carolina location.
Shane Horten received a BA degree in music from University of North Carolina, Greensboro, NC in 2008. He received a degree in Band Repair from Minnesota State College Southeast Technical Institute in Red Wing, Minnesota in 2009. He has also studied and completed both an apprenticeship with a seasoned luthier in the string setup shop at Amati’s Fine Instrument Facilities in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2011. He furthered his string repair through studies at NAPBIRT resulting in certification for most string instrument repairs.
Experience gained over the past several years in both band and stringed instrument repair have shown Shane to be top notch in all (but not limited to) the following: dent removal, body repair, shaping and fitting bridges, repairing bodies and necks, repads, chem cleans, soldering, rotor work, strings, corks, slides, etc.
