Timothy Corts

Timothy has extended experience in building and repairing both fretted and unfretted acoustic string instruments. He also has great experience in guitar and bass electronics, set ups, pickups, you name it. He is a graduate of Charles Fox “Earthworks” School of Guitar and Violin Building in the early 70’s. He studied under German Craftsmen at Scherl & Roth Violin Co. in 1973. He has been doing repairs and restorations ever since, as well as playing professionally.

Dillon Johnson

Upon graduating high school, Dillon enlisted in the Active Duty Army Bands. Serving 6 years with the 1st Infantry Division Band and overseas in the 8th US Army Band in Seoul, South Korea, as a tuba player. After completing his military commitment, he went back to college at Campbell University where he pursued a degree in Music Education. Having a change of heart, he decided to change career paths and went to school at Renton Technical College where he earned his certificate in Band Instrument Repair Technologies. After completing repair school Dillon was trained under several accredited Band Instrument Repair Technicians. While doing so, he handled work for countless schools and pro musicians in Alabama. Dillon decided to move back to his home state of North Carolina in 2022. Dillon currently serves as a tuba player for the 151st Alabama, Army National Guard Band, and as the Band Instrument Repair Technician here at Jackson`s Music.
